Title: Deputy Attorney General - Civil Appeals Division
The Office of the Illinois Attorney General is seeking to fill the position of Deputy Attorney General – Civil Litigation. The Office of the Attorney General handles a wide variety of civil litigation, including government representation, environmental enforcement, consumer protection, and other public interest litigation practices, including antitrust, civil rights, disability rights, public utilities, tobacco, workplace rights, and whistleblower litigation. The majority of attorneys in the Office practice in Civil Litigation. The Deputy Attorney General – Civil Litigation would be responsible for overseeing and managing the civil litigation for the entire office.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
