Keeping Communities Safe

Office of Illinois Attorney General's
Teen Dating Violence: On-Line Resource Kit

When people think of domestic violence they usually think of adult women as the victims. But we know they are not the only ones. In fact, domestic violence affects women of all ages, from senior citizens to young girls, as well as everyone in between. Domestic violence happens in all kinds of relationships.

To stop domestic violence, we need to prevent it from an early age. We need to protect teens from dating violence, and to educate young boys and girls that violence against women is wrong.
