The Attorney General's Office offers a variety of resources to help you understand your rights and what programs and services are available to you and your family. Having the right information can help you save money and more importantly, avoid being misled. Recent changes to Illinois law allow AT&T to increase the rates for landline telephone service paid by customers enrolled in certain rate packages and permit AT&T to discontinue landline telephone service in particular areas.
